About Us
Those of us living on Tamborine Mountain consider we are living in paradise and we want to share it with you and would be delighted to help you find your own piece of paradise. Tamborine Mountain is a gorgeous plateau at around 485 metres (1800 feet) above sea level which makes it about four degrees centigrade cooler than the fabulous Gold Coast in Queensland's South East corner. The longest area is about 14 kilometres and its widest is about 7 kilometres.
The Gold Coast is about 40 minutes drive and Brisbane about an hour, so we are brilliantly situated for facilities and yet can withdraw into the real paradise for living quality. We live in a rainforest environment with a rich bio-diversity among which are nestled three small village areas surrounded by rural and semi-rural activities.
Around six thousand five hundred people call the mountain 'home' where the children attend one of two state primary schools and the State High School or the College. Of course we have people who, for various reasons, move to other areas and this then allows people like yourselves to come and enjoy this lovely environment and we would love to help you find your dream home or piece of real estate on Tamborine Mountain.
